Multiplicity: More than One: Women in Art

Betsy Schulz’s Ceramic Bottle Series was part of a seven woman show called Multiplicity: More than One: Women in Art at the Ronis Fine Art Gallery in San Diego, CA. In order to stay inspired and try new techniques, Betsy and her six women friends have been meeting monthly for the past few years. It has been very enriching for her to continually share and be challenged by other highly motivated and talented women.

Bottles Up is a collection of molded clay bottles (antiques). This grouping of multiple bottles represents all the products, mainly medications, we all seem to have around, even when expired. It’s a tribute to the belief that you need all these elixers. And if one doesn’t work, try another.
