This custom mural combines photos from nature photographer Insu Nuzzi with the sculptural ceramics of Betsy K. Schulz. Betsy referenced Insu's photos to sculpt the hummingbirds, and added other sculptural elements such as leaves and textures. She also used Insu's images in the background photo composition. Images are fired onto hand-made ceramic tiles using glass decals produced by inplainsight art studio. All ceramic glazes are custom mixed to harmonize with the natural color of the images.
